This timelapse consists of around 120 images that I took during the total lunar eclipse in the early morning of 28 September 2015. The short piece of music was also written and performed by me. I think its actually a little closer to quarter note = dotted half + sixteenth
@@GrouseMan14 Yes, good point. I did think about that but in the end forgot to change it.
He's laying back so far behind the beat with some of those rhythms it's hard to know how to notate it, but this seems to make pretty good sense reading along for the most part. Lovely feel.
True, I'm pretty sure those descending augmented phrases would be more correctly notated as some kind of tuplet for example. But yeah, lovely feel indeed!

Thank you. Love this arrangement. I have the sheets from verdegrand's video. I think this will help me out with some of the trickier parts!
Good gravy the opening is difficult, I never noticed just listening but the opening left and right hand parts have a staggered timing (one hand is like 6 beats while the other is 16) so it's like playing two repeating melodies that are asynchronous until they eventually join up mathematically, is there a word for that kind of technique? Can't wrap my brain around it but it works, amazing.

I don't have much experience other than PlanoTeq, but i was sold as soon as I played the first note after downloading the demo version. You have to try playing it before you judge it.
